MXOLISI HOBOYI FOUNDATION Donates School Shoes to Students in Rural Areas

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and improving the lives of
children in rural communities, Mxolisi Hoboyi Foundation is pleased to announce the
upcoming donation of school shoes to students across several rural schools. This initiative
aims to ensure that all children, regardless of their socio-economic background, have the
proper footwear to attend school, attend lessons comfortably, and participate fully in school
activities.

The handover ceremony will take place on the 11 February 2025 at Tsolo junction hall
where 10 schools will receive new pairs of school shoes. This donation is part of Mxolisi
Hoboyi’s broader efforts to improve access to education and promote equal opportunities
for all students, especially those in underprivileged areas.
The Foundation believes that education is a powerful tool for change, and every child
deserves the chance to succeed without barriers. By providing these shoes, we hope to
eliminate one of the challenges that prevent many children from attending school regularly.
We are committed to continuing our efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of
children in these communities.

The foundation also believes that the new shoes would significantly reduce the financial
burden on families, while also allowing students to focus more on their studies rather than
worrying about inadequate footwear. These school shoes are more than just a gift, they are
a symbol of opportunity and hope. They will enable RURAL students to walk to school with
pride and confidence, knowing that they are valued and supported.

Mxolisi Hoboyi foundation will also award a teacher that has produced highest pass rate for
Matrics Mathematics 2024 from any high school within Mhlontlo Jurisdiction, the
foundation continues to look for ways to support the educational needs of students in rural
and underserved communities.
